I offer a safe and confidential space where you can explore whatever may be holding you back or causing distress in your life. Working in a person‑centred way means that our work is guided by you, at a pace and depth that feels right for you.
My aim is to support you in exploring your experiences and life journey within a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine, respectful, and trusting. Research shows that this kind of relationship is central to meaningful and lasting change, and person‑centred therapy is intended to support long‑term growth rather than quick fixes.
My interest in neurodiversity is informed both by my clinical and academic work, and by lived experience. This shapes my commitment to offering a therapeutic space that is flexible, reflective, and respectful of different ways of thinking and experiencing the world.
You might be considering therapy if you recognise yourself in some of the experiences below:
feeling constantly under pressure, restless, or unable to relax
feeling misunderstood or at a loss in your relationships
struggles with addiction or compulsive behaviours
feeling the lasting impact of attending boarding school
living in a country different from the one you were born in and finding it hard to adjust
anxiety that limits your choices or affects your confidence
fears of being seen as a failure or feeling undeserving of happiness
persistent low mood, exhaustion, or difficulty carrying on
coping with loss, grief, or significant life changes
If any of these resonate with you, or if there is something else you would like to explore, therapy with me may be helpful.
